Milagros Boutique:  Since January 2004, Milagros has offered wonderful natural, fairly-made, and recycled products for families including  Moby Wrap and Ergo Baby Carriers, Isabooties vegan shoes, cloth diapers, unique locally-made wood toys and clothing, and organic baby care products – from Earth Mama Angel Baby and Wild Carrot.  Milagros also carry maternity needs – including Bella Bands – and breastfeeding support products from Bravado, Medela and LilyPadz. To top it off, you will always find a wide selection of recycled maternity, nursing, baby, and kid clothes at Milagros.  From the beginning, the goal for Milagros has been to be more than just a fun place to shop. They strive to provide a welcoming atmosphere at Milagros. A place where families can feel at ease browsing for clothing, learning about attachment parenting, getting questions answered about cloth diapers and breastfeeding, or just hanging out and visiting.  Milagros also reflects our values of being community-oriented on the local and global level. This commitment is reflected in their choice of products, our support of charities such as MercyCorps and La Leche League, and our direct support of neighborhood celebrations such as Concerts in the Park, Sunday Parkways, and the Fox Chase Family Artwalk.

Hygeia is committed to helping breastfeeding and breastpumping moms meet their breastfeeding goals through our caring approach and reliable technology. We further offer unwavering support to healthcare professionals who serve breastfeeding moms everywhere.  All our products are WHO code compliant, lead-free,  and BPA-free.  Hygeia, has a “Go Green Solution”. When a Hygeia consumer no longer needs her breastpump, it can be re-used by a friend or family member when each mother has her own personal accessory set (PAS). This means fewer pumps in the landfills.  Re-usable breastpumps are not new to hospitals which use expensive durable medical breastpumps that few consumers can afford to buy or want to carry around. The breakthrough is Hygeia’s adaptation of this leading hospital technology into a consumer retail product that’s portable, economical and safe for re-use between mothers. All the parts that touch a mother or her milk are part of her personal accessory set.  In addition to fewer pumps in the dumps, the Hygeia EnJoye breastpump features an optional reusable lithium ion battery. This rechargeable battery will last for up to four hours of use, and is another Green feature. Competitive breastpumps typically use multiple AA batteries that end up in landfills after use.  Hygeia is committed to the environment and making the earth a Greener place for new parents and babies.

MilkMakers  Milkmakers is a Seattle-based baking company whose unique cookies help nursing moms provide a healthy, abundant supply of breastmilk to their babies. Emily Kane, a working mother of three who was looking for a way to increase her own breastmilk after the birth of her first daughter, experimented with traditional remedies and recipes to create milkmakers. Her delicious cookies contain all-natural ingredients including oats, brewer's yeast and flax seed that provide essential nutrients such as B-complex vitamins, omega-3 fatty acids and protein. To find out more information about milkmakers, or to place an order, visit www.milkmakers.com. Also available on the company's website are links to additional resources for breastfeeding moms, as well as suggestions for finding a lactation consultant and dietician.
