If you’re considering attending a La Leche League conference for the first time, you may think this is too good to be true. You may wonder, “Can I really hear experts with my babe-in-arms? Can my family attend and find entertaining activities?” or “Will I benefit professionally from a lactation conference that also supports families?” Yes! Yes! and Yes!
Children and families are what La Leche League is all about. Families are an integral part of the Conference. The hotel halls are filled with babies, mothers, dads and older children. The playrooms resound with laughter and toddlers play happily on the floor in session rooms. We invite you to a conference designed for you AND your family! For separating children of ages 3 and up there will be Kids Camp Extraordinary Adventures, please check out the details on the Kids Camp page. You or a caregiver must remain with your child under 3 at all times since no childcare is available. You are welcome to bring a child’s caretaker with you or invite grandma or grandpa. More details are available on the Kid's Camp Adventures page.
We have a few new events for families this year: * Family-Centered interactive sessions
* Friday night family storytelling with Margaret Read MacDonald * Saturday night family entertainment with Seattle's Favorite Kid's Band "Recess Monkey." Local Attractions in Redmond:
